About Us
Rose & Mae Events is owned and run by a cousin team, Laura & Molly. We are from a large, yet very closeknit farming family – our parents are one of nine children and we are two of twenty five grandchildren! We have been brought up in a very family-oriented environment and we are lucky to not only just be cousins, but best friends.
Family means absolutely everything to us so when we started our business together our main aim was to build something incredibly special for others to make memories with those they hold most dear. We are so excited to help you create the most memorable day for you and your family.
Meet the Team
Laura – Co-Owner (Written by Molly)
Laura is Co-Owner of Rose & Mae Events, Felicity’s Café at Quex, and Weddings & Events at Quex Park. Laura is an incredible mum to two beautiful children, Felicity (5) and Benjamin (3), and wife to Craig. Having experience in the Event Sector, it is safe to say that Laura knows what she is talking about when it comes to planning a wedding or special event. Having planned her own wedding down to the very last detail, she knows how important it is to bring a specific vision to life. We are very lucky to have Laura on-hand to oversee the day to day running of the business and heading up all of the events!
Molly – Co-Owner (Written by Laura)
Molly is Co-Owner of Rose & Mae Events, Felicity’s Café at Quex, and Weddings & Events at Quex Park. Believe me when I say Molly is one of the hardest working people I have ever met. Having worked in the Event Sector since she was 15 (now 22), Molly started as a waitress, progressed to bar manager, then to event manager and finally to being her own boss! Molly thrives on the lead up to any wedding or event and withstands the long hours like a solider – maintaining her incredible passion, kindness and seamless execution throughout. Molly is Godmother to my son, Benji, and if either of my children turned out out be like Molly that would be a job well done.
Alice – Office Manager
Alice is a fundamental part of the team! To be honest, she is the glue that holds us all together. You will never meet someone more efficient when it comes down to managing an office or an organisation! Alice, has worked with us for the last 6 years but has 10 years of experience in the event sector, she also has first-hand experience when planning her own wedding.
